the world's progress in reducing inequality

- The proportion of refugees in the world has more than doubled since 2010
At the end of 2020, many people forced to leave their countries, due to wars and uncomfortable life, also disorderly violations had risen to 24.5 million which is the highest number recorded,  numbers show 311 refugees outside their country of origin for every 100,000 people, which means that it is more than double the number in 2010 The proportion of refugees in North Africa and West Asia rose to approximately 1,500 refugees per 100,000 people between 2010 and 2020.
The Syrian Republic has been the main refugee country since 2014 due to war. Another example is people who fled Latin America across international borders and received international protection which has been increased from 80 to 668 out of 100,000 during the same period. Those refugees faced a big challenge in 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic. During the epidemic, 164 countries closed their borders, and 99 did not provide exceptions for refugees who want asylum, which greatly increased the number of this refugees. - Fiscal policies that make society fairer play little role in low-income countries
Taxes and remittances one of the most effective ways governments use to reduce economic differences, this genetic indicator proves the effectiveness of taxes and remittances in reducing inequality. Many countries try to recover from Covid-19 and these attempts include fiscal policy responses which have become more important in that time, Statistics show 77 countries between 2013 and 2018 clear differences in reducing inequality. The greater impact has been shown in high-income countries with low Gini index, which significantly reduces inequality through rich people who pay more than their income as taxes.
